Welcome to our GRAND OPENING SALE!

Making Sustainability Part Of Our Brand

Bales of post-consumer paper for recycle processing
At Ink & Stars, we believe that every small step towards sustainability counts. Our commitment to the environment is woven into the very fabric of our brand (pun intended), and we’re excited to share some of the ways we incorporate eco-friendly practices into our business. In a world where plastic in its many, many forms permeates every aspect of our daily lives, it can seem an impossible task to escape something so ubiquitous. But it is worth the effort! While our company may be making small steps, they become big steps towards progress when we all focus together.

MATERIALS We source our materials from suppliers who share our values, ensuring that our products are made from recycled or responsibly sourced materials, while offering affordability for our customers. And we’re always researching new options. Here are links to sustainability info from these providers:

PACKAGING We are dedicated to eco-friendly packaging. We understand that packaging can contribute significantly to waste, so we try to use minimal and recyclable packaging for all our products. This means that when you receive your order, you can feel good knowing that we’ve taken steps to reduce our environmental footprint. We use a mix of recycled-paper and certified ocean-bound recycled plastic packaging to ship our products.

Better Packaging Co.  This is an exciting company, started by two women in Australia, who have come up with several sustainable packaging materials. The most intriguing is their innovative material called POLLAST!C – a revolutionary range of packaging made from recycled certified ocean-bound plastic pollution rescued from coastal communities throughout Southeast Asia.

EcoEnclose  Colorado-based EcoEnclose has a ton of eye-opening resources on their site where you can educate yourself about the merits (and pitfalls!) of various eco-friendly packaging options. EcoEnclose is woman-owned/minority owned.

We regularly evaluate our practices and seek out new ways to improve. Got some suggestions? We’d love to hear them! Finally, we encourage our customers to join us on this journey. We believe that together, we can make a difference, one person at a time.

We appreciate your support of our small business, and look forward to continuing this journey with you!

Look good, do good, have fun!
